All the Birds!

I had planned to take a little break from art as I have essays, exams and new courses to concentrate on. However, I just found out that the end-of-term project for my art course is due in next week! We have a nice space at the university in which to exhibit our projects and I’m determined to create a strong piece that reflects my favourite experiences from the course. Ideas so far include water, the colour blue and some of my bird portraits. Yep, I’m not quite finished with birds yet! Here’s a photo of my work at the second “Parched Artists” exhibition.

All done!

There’s one week to go until “Parched Artists” second exhibition and I’ve just finished my final piece! See all of my bird portraits and lots of other wonderful things at AKA in Banbury on the 14th, 15th and 16th of April.

Work for the “Parched Artists” exhibition is progressing nicely again after a few shaky days. At the moment I’m working on some ducks that I found in Skara over Easter weekend. However, my current favourites are the seagulls and I’ve just added a couple more as I wanted to include some particularly memorable characters I came across in Kungshamn last Summer.
